Assistant Sales Manager- East Malaysia

Responsibilities:

Achieve personal and team sales targets across all segments, including Special Steel Applications and plywood/components.

Lead and support sales efforts from inquiry to project execution, ensuring profitable contracts and timely collections.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, expand market share, and generate new business opportunities.

Promote PERI as a trusted supplier and present product strategy to decision-makers.

Manage projects, coordinate with teams, and keep CRM and sales tools updated.

Ensure compliance with company policies, values, and performance improvement plans.
Stand out from the crowd - What distinguishes you

Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in construction or plywood & components.

Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strategic thinker with solid market analysis ability.
-
Entrepreneurial mindset with good business acumen.
-
Team player with integrity, accountability, and drive.
-
Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia (other languages a plus).
