Regional Procurement BP MU EE

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Drive procurement performance across the Eastern Europe region, contributing to improvements in TCO, EBIT, working capital, and supply security.
• Provide functional leadership and guidance to local procurement teams within a matrix organization.
• Analyze regional spend, demand, and market data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Lead cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, VAVE projects, supplier development, and volume bundling.
• Develop and execute the regional procurement strategy in alignment with global procurement objectives.
• Ensure procurement processes are standardized, compliant, and efficient.
• Support global sustainability and compliance initiatives, including LKSG, CBAM, EUDR/EUTR and supply chain risk management requirements.
• Manage the supplier lifecycle, from supplier selection and contract negotiations to performance management and relationship development.
• Establish KPI transparency and monitor regional procurement targets.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and local procurement teams.
• Contribute to strategic cross-functional initiatives such as ERP implementations, process harmonization programs, and supply quality management projects.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Procurement, preferably within an international environment.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, and contract management capabilities.
• Proven experience influencing and leading teams in a matrix organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in spend and market analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP MM, ERP systems, and eProcurement tools.
• Fluency in English; German or additional European languages are considered a strong advantage.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
