Scopr of Position:

In this role, the Data/Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing statistics and analyzing data management software.

As a Data/Business Analyst, you will work closely with the company Chief Executive Officer and our executive leadership team. Your focus is statistical gathering and analyses of data, designing data matrixes and building dashboards, and to show data trends to implement programs to help improve the bottom line of the organization by supporting all departments.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Work closely with leadership teams to extrapolate data trends that support data modeling, including ad hoc requests, interval reporting and building dashboards for respective departments
• Develop and maintain company performance dashboards and reports to provide insights to the departments and management
  • Coach team members on how to utilize dashboards and to maintain them
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques to forecast, track key performance indicators (KPI’s) and measure organizational effectiveness
• Ensure stored data is easily accessible to internal teams
• Assist in creating data-based tools that help to increase the company’s strategic efficiency
• Identify opportunities to work cross-functionally
• Build strong and influential internal relationships to help ensure business objectives are being met
• Remove corrupted data and review through root cause analysis

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
• 1 year experience working in data management and software systems
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL or BI tools
• Certification for job-related software systems
• Vocational training such as presentation skill certificates is an assest
