What you'll do on a typical day:
- Implement process to identify and pursue Mega projects nationally.
- Leverage all PERI resources to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Identify and build/maintain relationships with key customers, industry personnel.
- Attending client meetings and liaising with the technical teams in Canada or at the head office in Germany to ensure the safest and most cost effective solutions are offered to our customers.
- Maintaining national bid and activity logs for all Mega projects.
- Ensure that projects are executed effectively and ensuring that a positive customer experience is delivered through the initiation and coordination of internal communications, liaising with other departments and supporting local sales and engineering teams.
- Ensuring detailed technical presentations are given to our clients and external stakeholders.
- Develop and train a team of sales, engineering and customer service personnel that will allow PERI to aggressively pursue Mega projects and be seen as best in class for Mega projects.
- Engage in market research to stay up to date with trends, changes and growth activity within Canada.
What you'll need to be successful:
- A post-secondary education (preferably a degree or diploma in a construction related program);
- A strong knowledge of all the main PERI systems’ features and benefits particularly those associated with civil engineering applications such as VARIOKIT;
- Strong technical ability related to the civil engineering applications of PERI systems;
- Sales experience with civil engineering projects (an asset) and Formwork design experience (an asset);
- Experience with managing a team is preferred;
- Experience with creating training modules and delivering training;
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
- A demonstrated ability to resolve customers’ issues and offer solutions;
- Excellent active listening, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills;
- A proven ability to develop and build relationships and to identify and address customer needs; and
- Experience with AutoCAD & MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
