What you'll do on a typical day:
- Develop national account plans through a strategic approach which allows for reaching fostering relations at all levels and relevant departments within an organization (goal – to understand the customer entirely)
- Effectively manage national account pipeline and coverage to ensure target achievement
- Establish best practices, develop trainings, and d
- rive national alignment to ensure consistent positive customer experience
- Coach and mentor sales teams throughout collaborative sales efforts
- Establish regular customer touchpoints to build and maintain relationship, to evaluate PERI’s performance and to gain an understanding of future improvement opportunities
- Utilize customer feedback to improve customer satisfaction across all segments
- Accountable for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Maintain pipeline, revenue forecasting, customer communications, and database within CRM or applicable system on a weekly basis
- Continuously learning and maintaining knowledge of PERI products, services, and their application
- Perform ongoing market research to stay up to date with trends, changes, and growth activity that may impact our business and customers including understanding political, economic, and competitive landscape
- Work with internal PERI departments as necessary to achieve customer satisfaction
- Perform associated tasks related to revenue generation expectations
- Follow proper accident/incident protocols
What you'll need to be successful:
- Post-secondary education degree or equivalent years of experience
- 3 years of Area Sales Representative/Regional Account Manager or similar role within the Concrete/Scaffolding construction industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to utilizing new technology/software
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Valid driver’s license
- Exceptional verbal and written communicator in the English language
- Ability to understand PERI’s sales process, concrete/scaffolding construction project lifecycles, contract terms and conditions, and B2B business environment
- Understanding of the construction industry and market trends and how they influence assigned national accounts
- Ability to generate business as an independent contributor while maintaining the responsibility to escalate and engage other team members as required
- Strong leader that is self-motivated with a competitive drive and a resilient nature
- Advanced project management knowledge with the ability to understand complex project schedules and identify how PERI products and services can benefit the customer
- Goal and results oriented mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills
