Yard Coordinator
The main purpose of PERI’s Yard Coordinator is supporting the supervisor in the management of the department/resources to meet set goals and objectives. The Yard Coordinator does this by assisting the Yard Supervisor to efficiently and effectively complete assigned tasks and by following safety standards. Leveraging PERI’s resources, the Yard Coordinator will spend the full day in the yard supporting and working alongside your team. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Yard Coordinator to support the Yard Supervisor in assessing yard planning and annual inventory.
What you’ll do in a typical day:
- Understand assigned departments tasks and ensure assigned team is aware of and following all processes and procedures for department and related to safety
- Ensuring safety policies and procedures are adhered to by all on company premises and assigned work areas are clean
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve daily, weekly, monthly and yearly yard goals
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the team to ensure customer delivery expectations are met in an efficient and timely manner
- Motivate employees while maintaining a positive, results-oriented workplace by striving to achieve productivity goals
- Assist in the development of the team by supporting the yard supervisor in relaying clear expectations, safety, training, providing feedback and coaching
- Participate in the cycle counts and annual inventory taking processes
- Assist in implementing Logistics Best Practices
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by following safety and housekeeping processes and procedures
- Perform all job tasks for assigned department
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Attention to Detail: Thoroughly reviews work for errors, follows instructions, proofreads, and maintains accurate records.
- Company Knowledge: Strong PERI product knowledge and PERI yard experience

- Organization: Coordinates tasks, tracks details, and ensures quality and understanding

- Product: Experience in handling construction material and procedures

PERI Offers a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental options, 401k retirement with company match, paid holidays, sick leave, and paid time off. The hourly pay range for this opportunity is between $22.36 to $28.00 per hour.
