What you'll do on a typical day:
In this role, you will oversee the segment market share growth, targets and all revenue generated within the territory. efforts will be made to identify potential PERI customers in the Scaffolding segment and establishing and maintaining relationships with general contractors and formwork contractors. As an Area Sales Manager, you develop and sustain business through mainly new and some existing customers’ projects. You will leverage PERI's resources, and responsible for developing and implementing a strategy, market potential, group revenue objects concerning customers, products and business models. Covering the scaffolding segment, your role is to ensure to engage and collaborate with other departments in order to maximize customer satisfaction (Finance, operation, engineering). Create and implement an effective sales strategy to ensure market share growth the includes sales resource planning, revenue forecasting and revenue growth across business models. You will also ensure that all financial compliance and contractual requirements are achieved and PEERI's risk is minimized.

- Adhere to all established health and safety policies / procedures and ensure all reports of hazards / incidents / accidents are submitted in a timely and effective manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey information and communicate to various levels of an organization
- Construction Industry Awareness: Understanding of the construction industry and market potential within the assigned geographical area to tailor sales strategies accordingly
- Project Management: Effectively manages projects, including scheduling, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement.
- Negotiation and Persuasion: Identifies and addresses the social, emotional, economic, and practical barriers that prevent people from complying, listening to understand the other party's perspective as well as articulating your own needs concisely, thoughtful planning and preparation before talks, thinking critically, adapt strategies, patience, persistence, and techniques.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary education degree or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years’ experience in technical sales, business development and sales management
- Experience in the construction industry preferably with formwork and scaffolding systems
- Proficient Microsoft Office applications and computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to utilizing new technology/software
