What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Assemble accurate and complete 2D layouts and/or 3D models of customer projects

  • Create accurate and complete 2D/3D layouts of PERI systems that meet PERI Engineering standards

  • Produce detailed installation and assembly drawings with full material lists

  • Train and teach customer scaffolding team on how to excel with PERI system

  • Be a site leader and ensure customer is satisfied with PERI service

  • Helping client use and understand PERI Path & SET Tool

  • Log and communicate any and all site issues customer may have

  • Act as the primary point of contact for scaffold related issues with the customer scaffold team

  • Resolve on-site challenges related to scaffold logistics, or delays

  • Assist in ways to optimize productivity and efficient for the customer on-site

  • Work with the Engineers to ensure that the customer’s project is understood and correctly laid out in CAD

  • Work with Engineers to prepare proposed PERI system solutions to meet the project goals

  • Prepare detailed and complete layouts in 2D or 3D CAD with complete material lists, update designs and track changes

  • Produce detailed and accurate assembly drawings for customers and internal assembly functions

  • Ensure all work is to US and PERI Engineering standards

  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Excellent 2D and 3D CAD skills preferably in AutoCAD (PERICAD will be trained)
  • Knowledge of Architectural drawing standards with the ability to read and prepare Architectural drawings
  • Extensive scaffold knowledge and industry experience
  • In depth understanding of construction methods
  • In depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate complex tasks, check for quality and understanding, track details and changes
  • Exceptional time management and communication (non- verbal/verbal) skills
  • Critical thinker with problem-solving skills, results-oriented and data-driven mind-set
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team, along with the ability to be organized and succeed in a fast- paced environment
  • Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment and consultation
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to work with multiple software programs
  • Proven ability to accurately organize advanced engineering and project data, keeping track of open questions and close-outs
  • Proven 2D and 3D CAD design and professional drafting skills
  • Certificate in CAD Drafting
  • Journeyman Scaffolder preferred
