Senior IT Service Technician

Role Objectives

The realization of IT services for the assigned PERI locations for the region Middle East Africa as well as the coordination of external IT service providers and IT suppliers. 

Role Responsibilities

• Provision of the PERI standard workplaces with all the components (Desktop, peripherals, communication tools, network and software).
• IT troubleshooting and IT first point of contact in the field service.
• Processing and documentation of incoming incidents and Service Requests as well as their processing prioritisation in a ticket system.
• Collaboration in international IT projects and infrastructure rollouts.
• Monitoring of infrastructure parameters.
• Coordination of external IT services providers and IT supplies.
• Maintenance of local network infrastructure.

Competences

Basic Requirements

• Completed vocational training as IT specialist System Intergration or Comparable.
• >5yr professional experience. 
• Knowledge in IT Service Management (ITIL).
• Willingness to travel.
• Experience with other cultures.
• English language B2.

Specialist Knowledge

• Senior IT Specialist.
• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or comparable
