The main purpose of PERI’s Product Manager Scaffolding and Shoring is to support the US strategy for PERI’s Scaffolding and Shoring systems based on customers’ needs to support PERIs business goals. The Product Manager Scaffolding and Shoring does this by facilitating cross functional teamwork to coordinate market research, product opportunities, and development of expertise of PERI’s Product Manager Scaffolding and Shoring systems. Leveraging PERI’s resources, the Product Manager Scaffolding and Shoring will oversee day-to-day activities related to understanding and implementing Scaffolding and Shoring marketing strategy, customer demonstrations, and companywide training. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Product Manager Scaffolding and Shoring to supervise market research and analysis and function as technical and product subject matter expert.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Responsible for product portfolio and strategy from launch to phase-out.
• Owns the product and competitors’ knowledge, training, and analysis for Scaffolding and Shoring.
• Continual development of product expertise, product lifecycle, and market demand and needs.   
• Utilize market research and intelligence to understand the competitive landscape, customers, and trends, and identify strategic opportunities for PERI’s Scaffolding and Shoring systems.
• Conduct opportunity assessments and profitability analyses and develop concepts for future product opportunities and phase-out strategies for product lines.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Develop and conduct product training for internal team members.
• Present, discuss, and answer questions about PERI’s Scaffolding and Shoring systems at industry trade shows.
• Assist in creating marketing materials (brochures, social media content, etc.), instruction manuals, presentations, reference lists, and other documentation.
• Align and implement global product strategies into local/regional strategies for market success.
• Act as an interface between sales, the market, and global product management, providing communication on product changes and feedback.
• Manage product launches, including marketing strategy, pricing, best practices, and action plans.
• Participate in product development and provision, assisting with specifications and ensures product approvals to local standards and regulations.
• Represent PERI in scaffolding associations and committees.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Ability to perform market research and translate results into tangible opportunities for product strategy and marketing.
• Understanding of market codes (ANSI, ACI, OSHA, SSF) for research and development of existing and future product needs.
• In-depth technical and working knowledge of PERI’s Scaffolding and Shoring systems and industry and customer utilization of the system and practical jobsite experience in PERI’s Scaffolding and Shoring systems.
