Senior Design Engineer - Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop safe, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions for formwork and shoring applications.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, design calculations and technical documentation.
• Generate accurate material take-offs to support project execution.
• Perform structural analyses and prepare comprehensive design reports in accordance with applicable international standards.
• Provide technical expertise and innovative engineering solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations and design reviews with customers, consultants and contractors.
• Conduct site visits to support project execution, verify design implementation and resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate closely with sales, operations and project teams to deliver optimum technical and commercial solutions.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, project specifications and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through value engineering and design optimisation.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in formwork, falsework, shoring and scaffolding design.
• Proven experience working on major infrastructure projects such as bridges and tunnels.
• Strong capability in structural analysis, engineering calculations and interpretation of international design standards.
• Self-motivated professional with a proactive attitude and strong ownership of assigned projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Dlubal RFEM, RSTAB and PERI Force Control would be a distinct advantage.
• Site experience in construction, temporary works or infrastructure delivery is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic or Mandarin would be advantageous.
