Technical Engineering Trainer

The primary purpose of PERI's Technical Engineering Trainer (TET) is to manage and lead the PERI Academy Hub - Americas' Engineering and Technical training initiatives. The TET achieves this by collaborating with various management teams and subject matter experts to gather the necessary information required to develop clear objectives, design effective training materials and plans, and define overall training requirements. Leveraging PERI resources, the TET ensures that all technical training content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with industry best practices and organizational requirements and needs. Additionally, the TET is responsible for playing a key role in developing the future talent within PERI, while actively supporting the company’s culture and core values through comprehensive engineering training programs.

What you’ll do in a typical day:

•   Create and implement a variety of training methods, including eLearning, virtual training, distance learning, classroom/instructor-led sessions, and on-the-job training/mentoring, to provide a comprehensive learning experience tailored to different needs.

•   Work closely with subject matter experts from various teams to determine the scope, topics, and requirements for training programs.

•   Deliver engaging and effective in-person and virtual training sessions for engineers at various levels and with diverse technical backgrounds.

•   Continuously evaluate training effectiveness, identifies areas for improvement, and implements changes to enhance the impact and efficiency of the training programs.

•   Work closely with technical teams, product managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of training programs.

•   Regularly update training materials and resources to reflect industry trends, new technologies, and organizational changes.

•   Coordinate and organize all aspects of training delivery, including scheduling sessions, managing participants, preparing materials, and handling technical setup for both virtual and in-person training events.

•   Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, performance metrics, and post-training evaluations.

•   Offer ongoing support to employees post-training, providing guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and additional resources to ensure the practical application of skills learned in training.

•   Keep accurate records of training activities, attendance, and progress and generate reports on training effectiveness.

PERI Offers a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental options, 401k retirement with company match, paid holidays, sick leave, and paid time off. The annual salary range for this opportunity is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00.
