About the role

As a Project Specialist at PERI Australia Pty Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating complex projects within the construction industry. Based in our Glendenning, NSW office, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and control. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and strategic objectives. Goal is to be the focus within the team from the point of sale to closure of projects. 

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery

  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to align project goals and manage expectations

  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed

  • Processing of claims & invoicing, execution and submission of variations, project cost - forecasted cost-margins VS planned TO

  • Facilitate meetings, report on project status, and provide regular updates to project sponsors and leadership

  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management or similar role within the construction industry

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to completion

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results

  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management or a related field is highly desirable
