What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Provide visionary commercial leadership to drive sustainable success.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the Hong Kong infrastructure and building construction market to meet and exceed organizational goals.
  • Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reporting, providing accurate and timely updates to senior management.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment to uphold group sales excellence by setting and maintaining high standards.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within infrastructure and building construction contractors, developing a strong understanding of their project needs and challenges.
  • Ensure optimal use and maintenance of sales systems, such as CRM.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals showcasing the value proposition of PERI's formwork and scaffolding solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution and customer support, and effectively communicate key information to sales and technical staff and external customers.
  • Promote PERI's brand and reputation within the market, attending industry events and networking opportunities.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of proven sales experience in leadership position within the Hong Kong infrastructure and building construction industry, specifically in formwork and/or scaffolding sectors understanding key players in the market.
  • A results-driven mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Open, reliable, and committed to driving continuous improvement.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, management and staff development skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese, Putonghua (advantageous).
