What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Provide on-site technical support, product knowledge, and best practices for safe usage of PERI products; answer inquiries accurately.
  • Demonstrate safe and efficient scaffolding usage to optimize customer performance and inform parties about safety issues.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Logistics, Engineering, and Sales for customer demonstrations, job execution, truck loadings, and delivery plans.
  • Consult and advise customers on preplanning and erection of PERI products.
  • Train PERI employees on product erection and dismantling.
  • Oversee product orientation for customers.
  • Assist customers in interpreting engineering layouts or assembly drawings.
  • Identify and communicate potential problems with PERI equipment in a timely manner to all parties including the Contractor, Superintendent, Project Manager, PERI Safety, PERI Engineering, and PERI Sales teams.
  • Develop and implement action plans to resolve issues with PERI equipment.
  • Accurately and consistently identifying problems related to PERI Equipment and their cause, then develop action plans for immediate and appropriate resolution.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Demonstrate proper usage and troubleshoot technical issues of PERI products, answer customer questions.
  • Advanced knowledge of PERI products, their safe and technical use.
  • A high level of emotional intelligence to build and maintain strong relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in computer skills and quick to adapt to new technology/software.
  • Knowledge of project management and ability to successfully manage schedules.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to analyze situations accurately and make informed decisions.
  • Critical thinker with advanced problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong relationship-building with customers and co-workers; understanding of departmental interdependencies.
  • Capable of working independently and in teams; effective in fast-paced environments.
  • Effective collaboration, adaptability to change, and handling unexpected events.
  • Experience with diverse teams and individuals across various positions.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, local construction standards, and ability to read blueprints and designs.
