Job Description:
- Ensure that prepared technical solutions are cost-effective, practical and safe.
- Preparation of GADs, BQs and statical calculations for offers and orders.
- Follow product strategy.
- Checking drawings, BQs, calculations of other engineers.
- Help the team leader with team management when necessary.
- Brief product specialists before arrival on site (hand over GADs, BQs and assembly drawings, give relevant "soft" information)
- Support project managers, sales engineers, product specialists and other colleagues whenever needed.
- Visit construction sites (including work from construction site office) and customer’s offices when necessary.
- Attend exhibitions and other industry and company related events.
- Participate in project related kick-off meeting
Competencies and Experiences
- Diploma or Degree in Civil, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- Understanding of construction processes (construction site experience is an advantage)
- Minimum 6 years of engineering experience in formwork companies.
- Ability to design scaffolding in 3D, understanding of shoring and scaffolding statical calculations.
- AutoCAD/BricsCAD operating skills - 2D and 3D
- Experience in Dlubal RSTAB or similar structural software
- Fluency in English
