What you'll do on a typical day:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Set of Accounts Management

    • Oversee all aspects of accounting activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and the month-end/year-end close processes.
    • Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial records.
  • Day-to-Day Accounting Operations

    • Perform daily accounting transactions and operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial data through meticulous recording and reconciliation.
    • Maintain organized and detailed financial records.
  • Regulatory Liaison and Compliance

    • Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory matters with authorities such as the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Companies Commission.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate effective communication between the company and regulatory bodies.
  • Administrative and Executive Support

    • Manage and organize schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives.
    • Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and other critical records.
    • Compile and analyze data to produce detailed reports and presentations.
  • Comprehensive Travel and Insurance Management

    • Coordinate and book all travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation, optimizing schedules, points, and costs.
    • Arrange comprehensive travel insurance, manage international roaming and calls, and ensure all travel-related matters are handled with attention to safety and cost-effectiveness.
    • Handle all insurance-related matters, including policy selection, renewals, and claims management to protect company assets and mitigate risks.
  • Audit and Taxation

    • Coordinate with auditors to facilitate audit activities, prepare necessary audit schedules, and ensure audits are conducted efficiently.
    • Assist in tax planning and compliance, ensuring all filings are accurate and timely.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties

    • Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the finance team.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial management, regulatory compliance, and administrative coordination.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with financial software such as SAP.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively managing multiple priorities.
