Main Tasks
- Technical and disciplinary manage of stockyard workers other than warehouse office staff
- Assist Operations Manager to ensure customer orders, returns and product maintenance meet company standards
- Organize and coordinate daily work for stockyard workers
- Ensure cost efficient work at yard and usage of space, correct order fulfillment and inventory accuracy
- Coordinate physical handling of deliveries, return and repair and maintenance work
- Coordinate and communicate with customer the delivery and return process
- Manage and prepare annual stock take
- Document and control performance KPIs
- Analyze processes and identify improvement potential
- Hands-on support for any warehouse operating matter whenever needed
- Responsible for the implementation of all Health, Safety and Environmental (“HSE”) requirements on the stockyard
- Administer vacation requests and medical absence of team members
Competencies and Experiences
- 4-6 years of experience in stockyard management and material management,
- Leadership and personnel development experience
- Knowledge on “HSE” measures
- License to operate forklift
- Basic welding knowledge
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Malay
- Experienced with working within a cross-cultural environment
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook
