Sales Engineer and Branch Coordinator

What you'll do on a typical day:

Sales (Main Focus)

• Position PERI as a reliable supplier of formwork, shoring, and scaffolding solutions in the Industrial Segment.
• Continuously identify and research new customers within the segment to expand market share.
• Continuously monitor market trends and competitors to position our offerings effectively.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to payment deadlines.
• Negotiate contracts that are financially beneficial and compliant with PERI's sales policies.
• Close sales to achieve revenue targets while ensuring profitability.
• Manage projects from initial offer to project close-out, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the sales team and senior management to develop growth strategies aligned with market trends and competitor activities.
• Uphold compliance with all company policies and values in daily operations and decision-making.
• Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the industrial segment for scaffolding and formwork solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, and stakeholders in the region.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
• Continuously monitor market trends and competitors to position our offerings effectively.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team and management to develop strategies for business growth.
• Maintain Sales tools and proper reporting

                  - Customer Relations Management CRM

                  - Sales Performance Report SPR

                  - Sales Steering Report SSR

• Forecast and plan for on-hand orders and future opportunities

Operations (Secondary Focus)

• Manage the end-to-end order processing cycle to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation for equipment and materials.
• Efficiently handle return notes and manage the return process.
• Monitor and maintain optimal yard inventory levels to meet customer demands.
• Ensure timely invoicing with coordination with the Head of CSM
• Implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline operations.
• Oversee operations and inventory management at the Bintulu Stockyard.
• Ensure rental materials meet quality standards both in stock and upon return.
• Maintain accurate stock records through cycle counts and daily reports.
• Set, document, and monitor annual goals and performance KPIs for the team.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (H.S.E.) requirements.
• Organize and coordinate daily tasks for stockyard workers.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Logistics/Business Administration
• At least 7 years of experience in sales and/or operations or equivalent
• Leadership and personnel development experience
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Malay
• Skills in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook
• Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial, professional, self-motivated, and Resilience
• Good organizational skills and ability to work independently
